Mecanica Solutions Inc. developed Inertia 360 to automatically extract mass properties from CATIA and generate accurate weight, mass and fuel distribution reports.

Join us for the Inertia360 Webinar

In this webinar we will demonstrate the following:

Extract mass properties data from CATIA V5 solid models

Make changes to mass properties without affecting these properties in the original CATIA models

Create volume sections that are user definable and easily changed

Extract mass properties data from newly created volumes

Take into account hidden bodies in CATIA models

Create accurate weight, mass and fuel distribution reports

Store results of each run and be able to compare results for historical trending.

Compared to traditional methods, Inertia 360 provides for more accurate reports, reduces the potential for human error and greatly reduces the time required to generate reports, thus allowing for more frequent updates.

We are proud to announce the launch of the new Mecanica Solutions website where you’ll be able to find out what we do as well as read inspiring articles from our new company blog. This major overhaul was the opportunity to actualize our content to reflect the current activities and services of the company and provide better answers to your needs.

It’s about the people

Our message is clear – Mecanica is about people. We are more than PLM service providers. We have rebuilt the website to reflect this truth and to generate a dialogue between you and us through blog comments (just below!) and our new social media channels. Furthermore, our company blog is the voice of our experts who share their knowledge for your benefit. Do you have any questions about PLM or engineering software? Send us your inquiries and we might just use this as the topic for our next blog article!

The technology

We are embarking in new directions… on both the back-end and front-end. On our side (the back-end), it means the integration of a sustainable CMS for frequent announcements and new content that will highlight what’s new in the Mecanica community. On your side (the front-end), you will experience an easy and intuitive navigation and will be able to search for specific items with the site’s new search tool.

We have designed this website to enhance your browsing experience: our new layout is responsive and scales beautifully on mobile devices. If something seems funny with the layout, you may consider upgrading to the latest version of your favorite browser.

We can’t wait to hear your thoughts about our new look. Happy browsing!

PS: If you notice broken links or images, feel free to let us know.
